E T C

Established in 1990, E T C has built a reputation as a trusted provider of comprehensive security solutions for both commercial and domestic clients. Originally formed as a business-to-business division of Edina Lock and Key Company, we specialise in delivering reliable, cost-effective locksmith services and advanced security products tailored to meet diverse client needs. Our expertise spans high-security locking systems, electronic access control, door automation, and bespoke safe installation, supported by two qualified Master Locksmiths and membership of the Master Locksmiths Association. With over three decades of experience serving Edinburgh and surrounding areas, we prioritise integrity, technical proficiency, and customer satisfaction, ensuring all solutions comply with current safety regulations and industry standards. As members of the Federation of Small Businesses and holders of full public liability insurance, we maintain rigorous professional standards while avoiding franchise models to guarantee personalised service.

Our commitment to innovation is evident in our adoption of cutting-edge technologies, including wireless security systems and Abloy electric locks, which address modern security challenges across residential, commercial, and maritime environments. We conduct free security health checks and site surveys, offering tailored recommendations to enhance property protection. Our dedication to accessibility and inclusivity is demonstrated through DDA-compliant door automation installations for elderly care facilities and disabled access solutions. By maintaining extensive stock of mechanical and electronic locking systems, we ensure rapid response times for emergency lockouts and urgent repair requirements. This combination of technical expertise, regulatory compliance, and customer-focused service delivery has sustained our growth from a local Edinburgh business to a nationwide service provider covering all areas of the United Kingdom.
