After being unemployed for 3 years, Martin has been helped back into wPress Release by Free2Learn

When Martin joined Free2Learn he had been unemployed for approximately 3 years and his self-esteem was very low as a result of the long period of unemployment. He had tried to get back to work by completing various other training programmes but unfortunately had not been successful in securing a job as a result of them.

Martin had enquired at his local Free2Learn branch in Hackney to register onto a FREE Pre- employment course. He was particularly interested in enrolling with Free2Learn because his advisor told him that they would also help him getting a job on completion of his training.

Martin really enjoyed his training programme, and that it helped him build up his self-esteem. He felt that his trainer was lively and highly encouraged interactivity during class which made the sessions more enjoyable. At the same time as attending and completing his FREE training with Free2Learn, Martin was also referred to the Recruitment Department and supported into employment.

After 3 years being out of work and claiming benefits, Martin is now working full time thank to the help and efforts of Free2Learn.  He is enjoying his new job and getting to know the industry he is working in. Due to his professionalism and transferable skills Martin is looking forward to a long career and additional training as a Security Officer. 

Martin now feels that his confidence has been restored, and would definitely recommend those thinking of doing a course with Free2Learn to take up the opportunity as without the help and advice that he received he would today still be unemployed.
