read moreEvery year our seasonal exhibition programme brings together the very best of handmade contemporary jewellery, ceramics, limited edition prints, glass, wood, textiles and works in mixed media exploring specific themes. We also provide an ever changing selection of makers who support and enrich each main exhibition. We support new and emerging makers as well as more established makers and for the past 36 years have introduced thousands of talented individuals to visitors of Leeds. Everything on display is for sale so we're a shop as well as a gallery space.

read moreHayley began her career with The Craft Centre and Design Gallery in 1990 after completing an MA in Textile Design at Loughborough University. Over the years she has built great relationships with designers and nothing gives her greater pleasure than successfully making a sale for them. She enjoys working as part of a fantastic team having overseen many changes throughout her time here. Hayley is proud of our status as one of the best contemporary craft galleries in the country. Jane's big love at The Craft Centre and Design Gallery is the print section and she finds it real joy to work with such a wonderful variety of work by so many brilliant printmakers.
