read morePlease note there is no specific drop-in dates for clinics, all appointments can be made through the reception team with the relevant clinician. Please ensure you always ring the surgery for the results of all tests, as we do not automatically ring you. Please only phone for the results of tests such as blood tests, urine tests or Xrays after 10.30am. Please try not to phone on Mondays as this is the busiest time for our Reception team, and phone lines may be busy. Allow 5 days for the results of blood tests, and 2 weeks for the results of x-rays.

read moreFrom 1st April 2016,i t is a contractual requirement for the practice to offer online access to all detailed information, i.e.information that is held in a coded form within the patients electronic medical record. We Currently offer online appointments, prescriptions and access to the patient summary. This practice plans to offer the facility for patients to view online, export or print detailed coded information held in their own record this is subject to the necessary NHS GP systems and software being available to the practice.

read moreAll rooms used by patients are on the ground floor and are fully accessible by wheelchair. We also have accessible toilet facilities on the ground floor. If there is difficulty with the mobility of some patient's, we do also have a wheelchair on site. If you know you will need this before the appointment please contact the reception team to request or pop into the surgery and one of the receptionists will get this for you.

It is an electronic record which contains information about the medicines you take, allergies you suffer from and any bad reactions to medicines you have had. Storing information in one place makes it easier for healthcare staff to treat you in an emergency, or when your GP practice is closed. This information could make a difference to how a doctor decides to care for you, for example which medicines they choose to prescribe for you.
