Chris and Jill Howell bought Seaway as a very tiny insurance brokerage back in 1987. Prior to that they had both worked within the industry, Chris for 23 years on the life, investment and pensions side and Jill as secretary to a manager of a major Lloyds brokerage. Since 1987 Seaway has expanded to provide a local approach to insurance throughout the UK, with customers in Scotland, Lancashire and Yorkshire, The Midlands where they lived and worked for some years, East Anglia, all around the London area and down to the South Coast.
