We now have very well tried and tested protocols in place and enable us to provide our patients and team a safe environment. Extra time is booked out between appointments to limit contact with other patients. Don't arrive too early as we can only have a limited number of patients in our waiting room.

Dentistry is changing fast and we keep moving with it, constantly studying and introducing the latest practices in tooth whitening, smile makeovers, dental implants, minimally invasive adhesive techniques and a full range of cosmetic treatments. Steve studied dentistry at the University of Birmingham. Following an honours degree in physiology he graduated as Bachelor in Dental Surgery (BDS) in 1996.

With proper oral hygiene and regular checks, bridges and crowns can last for years to come. Using our 3D scanner we can even do these without having to take impressions. A crown can restore the natural appearance of a tooth and prevent further deterioration. Crowns can be metal, porcelain, or a combination of both. All crowns are custom-made for you, so having a crown fitted may take more than one appointment.

If you've not considered tooth whitening, smile makeovers or other cosmetic work before then talk to us and we can help you decide what's right for you. We always look for the minimally invasive solution - the one that retains as much of your healthy tooth tissue as possible. This means that crowns and veneers may not be the only or best solution for you, but we can help you make the right choice.

Tooth whitening can restore that natural colour by neutralising the gradual discoloration that builds up within the internal structure of the tooth. There are different methods and new technologies available for tooth whitening. We're experienced and qualified to deliver from across the range of options - including Enlighten™ professional whitening. Enlighten™ works by increasing the tooth's permeability to oxygen that breaks down stain molecules.

There's growing evidence linking poor gum health with heart disease, high blood pressure, strokes, diabetes and other inflammatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and Alzheimer's. Our hygienist and therapists are experienced members of our dental team and together play a vital role in our preventative approach to dental care. Catherine and Harsha, our dental therapists focus on preventative and restorative care and education for our younger visitors, helping to make good oral hygiene a lifetime habit from an early age.

Made from titanium, they fit directly into your jawbone and hold crowns or false teeth in place, in the same way that roots support natural teeth. Dental implants are an attractive, long lasting and highly functional tooth replacement solution. As well as using dental implants to support individual crowns, we also use the technology in a range of other ways, including multiple tooth bridges, or to stabilise or retain dentures. Dental implants have been used in dentistry for more than 50 years and are a well-proven choice.
