Khalid completed his BSc University Degree in Physiotherapy in 1992 and obtained a post graduate diploma in Chinese Traditional Methods of Therapy in 1993. Khalid's post graduate career started in South Africa, where he worked in various hospitals and sports injury clinics. In 1997, he completed training in Neuro Development Therapy (Bobath concept) from The University of Stellenbosch, Cape Town and Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy (Maitland Concept) in 1998 from The University of Pretoria.
