The company has grown from fairly modest beginnings, into a premium quality meat product manufacturer supplying the retail and wholesale markets. Calder Millerfield was incorporated in 1961 when our founder, John Calder, commenced trading from premises in Millerfield Road in Dalmarnock in the east end of Glasgow. A butcher to trade, John Calder saw an opportunity to expand and develop the business he already had through his two shops in the city's south side.
