We're a tiny independent optician in the heart of Bristol. We have been open since May 1997. Our idea is to provide something that is different, a friendly atmosphere with loads of aid and advice if you want, and if you can not see exactly what you want then we'll get it if we can. We've added new connections to some really exciting frame websites. if you do look at the London site connections and there is something you like, we're able to beg steal or borrow from them.

After years of using a well known high street brand and having experienced hit and miss customer service, I have switched all my eye care to Bramley Pope.
You can not fault the service. It's super friendly and relaxed. Time is taken to explain how your prescription has altered, to finding the right solution for you whether it is new lenses or going through the entire stock to find a pair of glasses that will fit.

Great service and advice from Mark and a very friendly team. I am really happy with my glasses, Mark knew exactly what style would suit me and took the time to fit them properly. This is my first pair of progressive lenses after being short sighted all my life. Mark gave me lots of advice about how the progressives differ from single vision and this made it much easier to adjust. For the first time in a long time I can actually see well at all distances. Thank you so much!

Great service from Mark & team - excellent, honest advice on suitability of frames. Arranged for different styles to be delivered and very pleased with specs chosen in the end. Great range of specs in all price brackets and genuine desire from the team for customers to choose the right frames for them. I have bought from Bramley Pope in the past and will definitely return once the need arises! Good work team

Emphasis is placed on personal service, correctly fitted frames and accurately dispensed lenses. We sight test across lunchtimes to suit those people in the offices nearby. We do special rates for corporate sight testing and can arrange to VDU screen test on site if preferred. We also do designer ranges and the more unusual and we'll try to suit your pocket with your choice.

Frames

read moreWe make our choice of frame manufacturer to reflect our practice and ourselves. The selection is a little different and is a sign of our individuality and independence. Designer frames are not essential, but good materials, comfort and fit are. This list is not everything we keep and the frames we stock change a lot. It's always best to pop in and try some on with help from Mark, Philippa, Sam or Jane. Fleye make frames from a unique material mix of carbon fibre and wood. It's a fine balance of opposites.

We are constantly updating information regarding the latest advances in lens technology to ensure the best possible lens performance for your prescription so call to talk to us; we are here to help and advise and get you the best possible lenses. Did you know that when you say the word 'SEIKO' you are speaking Japanese?
