Providence Baptist Chapel

Providence Baptist Chapel is a Reformed and Evangelical Baptist church dedicated to the faithful preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We hold steadfast to the historic Christian faith centred on the Word of God, offering structured worship services that include evangelistic and expository teachings. Our ministry extends beyond regular services through weekly Bible studies, prayer meetings, and missionary reports. We actively engage in community outreach, including the Stroud Christian Mission, to bring biblical teachings to those who do not regularly attend church. Our chapel library provides free Christ-centred literature across the UK and Europe, supporting spiritual growth and evangelism. We welcome all individuals seeking to explore or deepen their understanding of Christianity, offering pastoral advice on personal and family issues grounded in Scripture.

Our commitment to doctrinal purity and biblical authority guides every aspect of our ministry, ensuring members and visitors receive consistent, scripturally sound teachings. Financial contributions from supporters enable us to maintain our premises and expand our global outreach efforts. With services broadcast live online, we strive to make our teachings accessible to a wider audience while maintaining the warmth of in-person fellowship. Our leadership team, comprising ordained ministers and lay leaders, brings decades of combined experience in biblical scholarship and pastoral care.
