Supporting the Homeless and Vulnerable in Gloucester
Established in 2003 by founder Mike Curtis, Gloucester City Mission has grown into a vital community organisation serving homeless, vulnerable, and recovering individuals across Gloucester. Our work is rooted in Christian values of compassion and service, delivering practical support through street outreach, day provision, recovery programmes, and community initiatives. With a dedicated team of 11 staff and over 100 volunteers, we combine faith-driven motivation with professional expertise to address both immediate needs and long-term personal transformation.

Our strategic focus on Aid, Transformation, and Growth ensures clients receive emergency assistance, faith-led recovery support, and opportunities for personal development. As part of the national British Association of City Missions network, we maintain rigorous safeguarding standards and collaborate with local authorities, healthcare providers, and support agencies to maximise impact. Our commercial kitchen, coffee lounge social enterprise, and therapeutic programmes demonstrate our commitment to innovative, sustainable solutions for social inclusion.
