We are Scotlands largest health charity dedicated to supporting people living with chest, heart, stroke and related long-term health conditions. For decades, we have provided free, confidential advice and practical resources to people across Scotland navigating life after a diagnosis or hospital discharge. Our team of qualified Advice Line practitioners are available to answer every question, no matter how big or small, for individuals and their families. We deliver specialist support for people living with Long Covid, aphasia and communication difficulties, as well as guidance for healthcare professionals working with our patient groups. Our refreshed No Life Half Lived strategy for 2023 to 2028 outlines our commitment to expanding support access across every part of Scotland. We work in partnership with public, private and academic organisations to pioneer innovative health development projects that improve long-term care outcomes.

All funds raised through our charity shops, fundraising events, lotteries and public donations stay in Scotland to support local communities. We publish a range of free, condition-specific resources and share inspiring real-life stories from people living full lives with long-term health conditions. Our volunteer network and dedicated fundraising heroes help us reach thousands more people who would otherwise face recovery alone. We uphold the highest professional standards in all our services, ensuring every person receives personalised, timely support tailored to their unique needs. Our core mission is to shape a Scotland where every person with a chest, heart or stroke condition can live a full life with the right support, at the right time, in the right place.
