We develop policy frameworks that support community empowerment and local governance. Our approach combines sector-wide consultation with evidence-based research to create actionable policy recommendations. These policies focus on devolving decision-making power and budgets to the most local level possible.
Community Learning Exchange
Our Community Learning Exchange programme provides small grants for peer-to-peer learning visits. This initiative enables community sector organisations to share best practices and develop new ideas through direct experience. The programme specifically supports knowledge transfer between organisations working on similar challenges.
Advocacy Services
We advocate for the community sector's interests at both national and local government levels. Our advocacy work focuses on promoting community wealth building and ensuring sector voices are heard in policy discussions. This includes formal consultations and collaborative working groups with decision-makers.
Collaboration Opportunities
We create platforms for collaboration between community organisations, government bodies, and other stakeholders. Our initiatives help build strategic partnerships that enhance the sector's collective impact. This includes facilitating connections between organisations with complementary missions and goals.
Capacity Building
We strengthen the community sector through targeted capacity-building initiatives. Our programmes focus on developing organisational capabilities and leadership skills across the sector. This includes resources and support for implementing community wealth building principles in local contexts.
