Welcome to Mow Cop Community Church
Mow Cop Community Church traces its roots to the 1950s when a spiritual movement on the hillside led to the formation of a local congregation. Initially meeting in temporary spaces, the church moved to its current building in the 1980s and gained independence in the early 2000s. Affiliated with the North Staffordshire Fellowship of Evangelical Churches (NoSFEC) and the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches (FIEC), we are committed to biblical teaching, community engagement, and spiritual growth. Our services feature verse-by-verse Bible teaching, worship, and fellowship, while our outreach extends to local and global missions. With a leadership team dedicated to pastoral care and community service, we aim to embody Christ's love through both word and action.

Services
Sunday Worship
Our Sunday morning gatherings form the heart of our community life. These services feature congregational singing, prayer, and in-depth Bible teaching. We prioritise expository preaching that connects scriptural truths to everyday life. The atmosphere combines reverence with accessibility, welcoming both regular attendees and first-time visitors.
Bible Teaching
We offer systematic Bible teaching through weekly sermons and midweek study groups. Our approach emphasizes verse-by-verse exposition, historical context, and practical application. Materials cater to various age groups and spiritual maturity levels, from introductory courses to advanced theological discussions.
Community Outreach
Our outreach initiatives connect faith with practical action in the local community. These include seasonal events, support for vulnerable groups, and partnerships with local organisations. We aim to demonstrate Christ's love through both spiritual guidance and tangible assistance to residents of Mow Cop and surrounding areas.
Youth Programs
We provide age-appropriate spiritual development programs for children and young people. Our Sunday School teaches biblical foundations through interactive activities, while youth groups offer contemporary worship experiences and discipleship opportunities tailored to teenagers' needs and interests.
Safeguarding Services
Safeguarding remains a core priority across all church activities. We maintain rigorous policies and trained personnel to ensure safe environments for children, young people, and vulnerable adults. Regular training updates and DBS checks form part of our commitment to responsible pastoral care.
