Welcome to Telford Elim Church
Telford Elim Church has served the Telford community since 1959, rooted in Pentecostal Christian traditions. Founded as part of the Elim Pentecostal movement, we transitioned from a wooden structure to a modern purpose-built facility in 2012, maintaining our commitment to contemporary worship and community engagement. Our history includes impactful youth ministries like Sunshine Corner, which introduced countless young people to Christian teachings. In 2020, we adapted to global challenges by pioneering hybrid services, combining in-person gatherings with livestreamed content that now reaches wider audiences. Our leadership team, including Pastor Leslie Burke and Next Gen Ministers Samuel and Alisha Foentjies, focuses on creating inclusive spaces for spiritual growth through weekly services, connect groups, and community outreach initiatives. The Hub, our 75sqm community annex opened in 2020, supports local engagement projects aligned with our mission to transform lives through Christ. We maintain core Elim theological principles while embracing modern approaches to ministry, evidenced by our investment in broadcast technology and diverse programming for all age groups.
