The Practice was set up in1982 on Lanark Road, Stateford, Edinburgh by two of the existing partners Ken & Sue Urquhart. The main surgery was relocated to the purpose built premises at Clovenstone Drive in 1996. The Partnership was joined by Donald Mactaggart in 1999. The practice now has five veterinary surgeons, seven nurses and two receptionists.

read moreDue to the announcement of national lockdown in Scotland, we will not be able to fulfill routine health checks and booster vaccinations as normal. If your pet is due an annual vaccination in January, please await an additional reminder message in February or March to invite you to attend for a vaccine appointment. Puppy vaccines however, will be available as normal. Kitten vaccines will be offered on a discretionary basis. We continue to see sick or injured pets as normal. Consultations can be made by phone, however we have temporarily suspended our online booking system.

If your pet is not fully insured, then for only a small additional charge per month, you can include Accidental Injury cover. This provides cover for the cost of treating accidental injuries up to 2,500 per incident, subject to an excess of 75. Total claims in any 12-month period may not exceed 5,000.
