The Surgery

On completion of the Newcastle Vocational training course for general practice in 1976, I joined Dr Geoffrey Mellor. He was the original junior partner of Dr Harry Wilson. Dr Wilson was the founder of the practice dating from just after the end of the Second World War. During my thirty two years in Jesmond, I have seen the practice premises change from a ground floor semi to the present spacious and comfortable premises, fit for the challenges of the 21st century.
