The Green is a warm and friendly church that seeks to be a positive influence and productive part of the community around it. Our Sunday services are open to all and you'll receive a warm welcome should you choose to come and meet us. Our Morning Service starts at 10:30am and is for all the family from the eldest to the youngest. The kids leave after a short time with the adults and split up into various Sunday School Classes including a creche. The Teenagers have their own study group.

If you fancy reading it then grab yourself a cuppa and get comfy. The Church was constituted in 1858 but there are records of Baptists being in Stafford in the 1650's. A man called Henry D'Anvers, best known as the author of a book called Treatise on Baptism, was a colonel in the Parliamentary army under Oliver Cromwell, and was for some time Governor of Stafford.
