read moreWesley Hall is part of Wesley Ebenezer Methodist Church, a multi-site church with a membership of 120 serving the Crookes and Walkley areas of Sheffield. Wesley Ebenezer works in partnership with its sister churches in the Sheffield Methodist Circuit which is a grouping of 3,700 Christians worshipping at 60 sites across the city. We are passionate in our desire to serve the community of Crookes. We attempt to express this through our daily lives, sharing together, our community events and through opening up our premises to many other community groups.

read moreWe are a friendly martial arts club based at Wesley Hall Church, Sheffield, teaching the World most popular martial art, TAEKWONDO! We are part of the Worlds biggest and best martial arts organisation, the TAGB, which has over 35'000 members training at over 650 clubs in the UK. Club owner and Instructor Mr Dave Shillabeer has over 20 years experience in martial arts. He is a qualified umpire, referee and instructor, is CRB checked, first aid trained and fully insured. He has been 7 times national champion, British Champion and is current World Champion.

read moreWe have a fellowship groups which meets regularly for Bible study (currenlty via Zoom), prayer and to support each other on our mutual journey of discipleship. Community Bible Study are a group of Christians from across different churches who meet each Friday at 9:45am to study the Bible together (with crche).

read moreThis is the main downstairs room that you can see through the glass doors at the front of the building. The door from the car park into the entrance area provides an accessible route into the building. There is an accessible toilet off the entrance area and there are no steps from the entrance area to the Church Hall. The floor is of sealed wood and there is a large kitchen off the side of the Hall with two serving hatches. The room is usually left empty, but there are chairs and tables that can be set up as required.

read moreWe are looking to convert the unloved space at the back of Wesley Hall into a Community Garden and would love you to help! We are trying to hold regular gardening days and things we need to do next include making a path, possibly making a compost bin, sorting out the green waste from previous days, beginning to tackle the concrete cobble areas around the church (for those who are feeling strong) and, of course, eating cake and drinking tea!
