Methodist Minister For Aylesbury
Religious Organization in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
The Aylesbury Vale Methodist Circuit is a mutually supportive group of 14 Methodist Churches in and around Aylesbury. We currently have a common purpose of channelling God's unchanging love for all people. We vary from the huge Aylesbury town centre church with its newly redeveloped Community Centre to smaller village churches. The Calendar section has details of our services and special events across the Circuit. The Faith Matters button will reveal the essence of what we believe and current and past sermons of our Superintendent Minister David Jenkins and news of Learning Events.

About Us
read moreWe seek to discover the word of God through reading the Bible. There are different understandings among Methodists about the Bible's authority in our lives. We need to use resources like different Bible translations, commentaries and Bible reading notes. This is the wisdom and creativity of Christians over time and across the world. It includes inspirational material like hymns, songs, prayers, poetry, Christian art and devotional books. There are also formally agreed teachings like the creeds, the content of the catechism, and statements and reports from the Methodist Conference.

Worship is at the heart of our church life. Through singing, praying and reflecting on the meaning of the Bible in today's world, we seek to strengthen our personal and shared relationship with God. The J Team (Sunday School) has various groups from tots to teens. They share the start of our worship before going to their own activities in the community centre.
