Welcome to SBC! We strive to be a welcoming & positive church community. Our doors are huge open to people from all backgrounds, regardless of where they're at on their life's journey. So, whether you're in Luton for a short time or are here for a longer season, we would love to suit you. Stopsley Baptist Church was birthed in 1848 when a tiny number of people met in a house in the Stopsley village, founding a tiny chapel in 1869. In the 150 years since this beginning, both Stopsley and SBC have changed significantly.
