Mr. Smith followed his Father into the piano business, as a result he has been around pianos since he was a teenager and was involved in piano reconditioning since that time. At age 17 he joined the Essex county council provides and transport department in their piano section and as a result trained at London college of furniture and passed city & guilds. Subsequently joined Pianoforte Tuners Association and has now been running his own business for the past thirty five years.
