Knowle Golf Club is a traditional members club which enjoys a reputation for it's fine greens and friendly welcoming atmosphere in the club house. A nice test of golf, Knowle is a mature parkland course with two contrasting halves and the benefit of two starting points. The club has played host to many county and professional events over the last 100 years. Knowle is a long founded parkland course where all kinds of the game are put to the test. There is a choice of starting tee with the 1st and 10th providing a distinct contrast in styles.

read moreWe have a large, 7 acre practice ground which also doubles as a par 3 course for beginners and juniors. Near the Clubhouse we have a practice putting green, two practice nets and a large USGA Specification Short Game Area designed by Adrian Stiff. During times of inclement weather, our Professional Mark Sanders has an indoor simulator available where you can play courses as diverse as Royal Troon and TPC Sawgrass.
Hole One
read moreThe fairway stretches uphill to a raised green and makes for a relatively difficult start. The green is very narrow from front to back and a par 4 will be an excellent start to your round. As with many holes at Knowle, the challenge here is based on accuracy and distance control, rather than power hitting. Unless you can hit a draw, a driver is not necessarily the correct club selection from the tee. Once on the fairway be sure to take an extra club to allow for the sharp climb to the green.
