Where two or more injections are required at once, these should ideally be given in different limbs. Where this is not possible, injections in the same limb should be given 2.5cm apart.

There are lots of apps available to use but Lancaster Medical Practice only supports Patient Access and myGP. Although we support both our preferred app is myGP because of the future functionality in development. However, we will not stop supporting Patient Access. We have developed a user guide for patients which details what you will need to do to ensure you are ready for your video consultation. This can be downloaded below.

read moreIf you are moving out of the catchment area for Lancaster Medical Practice or have decided to change to another GP Practice you will be required to register with the new practice. Once you have registered with your new practice (regardless of where that practice is based within the UK), you will automatically be de-registered with Lancaster Medical Practice. We will send your medical records to Primary Care Support England (PCSE) * for forwarding to your new practice. Please note this process can take up to 8 weeks.

read moreAs you may be aware, there are a number of changes occurring within General Practice locally. At LMP we will be taking on an additional premises at 1-3 Meadowside, Lancaster LA1 3AQ, which is currently occupied by Bay Medical Group. These premises will join LMP in 1st February 2019 along with many of the Doctors and Staff currently working within it. This change in boundary means that we will not offer services to new patients who live outside of our boundary. If you are a current patient and are not within our boundary, you will still be able to access services as normal.
