Walton Le Dale High School

Walton-le-Dale Arts College & High School was opened in 1957 as a 3 form entry secondary school for boys and girls aged 11-15 years. The school grew gradually until, in 1977, it was re-organised as an 11-16 comprehensive community Art College. The school serves the town of Bamber Bridge and the areas of Walton-le-Dale, Gregson Lane, Hoghton, Higher Walton, Clayton Brook, Whittle-le-Woods, the outskirts of Preston and Blackburn and parts of the Ribble Valley.
