We're a high-achieving and friendly Sixth Form, serving Blackpool and the entire of the Fylde Coast. We provide superb academic and applied programmes to a huge array of students aged between 16 and 19. Since we became a Sixth Form in 1988, we currently have gone from strength to strength and now have over 1900 students on roll. In June 2009, the Sixth Form completed the 2nd phase of a J15 million development programme, adding to our fantastic facilities and learning environment.

read moreThe aspect of my subject that I most enjoy is that it focuses on one particular topic at a time which allows me to focus on the material I need. The assignments are easy to understand and once an assignment has been done, you can focus ahead on the next task. I particularly enjoy the practical element of biology as you are able to put forward hypotheses and find your own methods of proving them. In addition, I find biology so interesting because the content covers such a wide variety of topics allowing you to gain a wider depth of knowledge into the subject.
