From May 2009 everyone who lives or works in North Yorkshire will have approach to the services of their own North Yorkshire Credit Union following the expansion of York Credit Union, which has been successfully serving the community in York for the past three years. We're an independent, not-for-profit financial co-operative, owned and controlled by our members. We're one of more than 500 credit unions in the UK and 43, 000 worldwide and Credit Unions have been around since the 1830's and now operate in around 100 countries with a combined membership of around 160 million people.

read moreWe are a not-for-profit office serving Insolvency Practitioners with their credit unions who are either in Administration or Liquidation. During 2018, we recovered 1.6m for our two Insolvency Practitioners with a self-employed team of 5. At the moment we serve two liquidators whose details can be found on the Insolvency Practitioners page. Consultant fees are charged by the hour or prorata.
