We're a fellowship of Christians who worship in the village of Whetstone, which is approximately 6 miles S of the city of Leicester. For us the Church is not a building or organisation but a family of people who share in common their faith in Jesus Christ. We're ordinary people, from all walks of life, who have the same joys and sorrows, cares and concerns that are common to us all. Our priority is to show the love of God to all who we meet and to tell them of the life changing power of Jesus Christ. We know what it's to be loved by God and desire to demonstrate his love to others.

As a church we support a number of missions and mission partners from our budget and in prayer. In addition, paper copies of news and prayer letters are made available in the church entrance. The Baptist Union of Great Britain (BUGB) is the association of Baptist Churches in England and Wales. The Home Mission department helps local churches through practical, legal and financial support.
