They are led by students, resourced by Christian Union Staff Workers and supported by the local church. Together, we are reaching students for Jesus. In 1919 Norman Grubb was a young student at Cambridge University. He wrote, "I had one overwhelming urge - to get around to all the rooms of the men in my College and witness to them." The biblical, theological, historical and practical reasoning behind the existence of Christian Unions as entities distinct (though not independent) from the local church.
