The firm's initial objective/target was to raise funding to upgrade and refurbish Ward Road Gym to ensure the building was retained as a local sporting facility for kids, adults, disabled and disadvantaged groups. Our long-term priority is to manage the gym efficiently by ensuring that income obtained through the Gym hall letting is sufficient to suit all operating costs. We're registered in Companies House, Edinburgh as a firm limited by guarantee and not having a share capital.

Two disastrous fires occurred almost simultaneously in Dundee early this morning. The Gymnasium, in Ward Road, was burnt to the ground; and a block of buildings off Bell Street, together with a large quantity of goods, was extensively damaged.
