read moreTowneley is a friendly welcoming golf club, formed in 1932 and based on a municipal golf course. Members pay a subscription which covers the cost of running the club, member insurance and affiliation to the Lancashire Union of Golf Clubs and England Golf. All of the club's officers are volunteers. We have no paid staff and therefore actively encourage all members to support the club by volunteering to help with the running of the club. Golf Club membership subscriptions do not cover green fees.
