We await information about when we will be able to reopen and in the meantime our Chef, Ashley is offering an exciting take away menu running weekly from Wednesday through to Sunday. When we can reopen we can assure everyone that we have implemented all the required safety regulations to ensure everyone is kept safe at our golf club. Bookings can then be made via BRS. read more2019 saw the introduction of fantastic cinema showings of premier movies! So far we have shown The Greatest Showman; Bohemian Rhapsody; A Star is Born and Rocket Man! So much more to follow, with the obligatory popcorn and hot dogs! Sunday 3rd May 2020: Burnley Golf Club's Open Day Event - Come and see what happens at our fantastic club-golf and social events! Sunday 9th August: Captains' Mixed Shotgun Competition followed by food and fun! Saturday 21st November: Murder Mystery at Glen View! Additionally there will be all the usual events taking place, which include the monthly quizzes, poker night, bridge drives, bridge lessons and of course all the snooker events with our three Burnley Golf Club teams who all compete in the local Burnley and District Snooker League.

One is situated adjacent to the club house car park and the larger one is accessed via Woodplumpton Road. Both areas have a practice bunker and the far practice ground also has a practice green, ideal for honing your short game techniques. We also have practice nets and a putting area, which are situated close to the club house. The Glen View Golf Academy Centre offers two large practice bays. There is also a swing room/studio area, available through booking, offering the latest in golf technology to assist with swing analysis, accuracy and distance.

Sam is well known in the area, having been an assistant professional at Towneley and professional at Nelson Golf Club. Sam has fitted out the Glen View Academy Swing room, which is part of the new Golf Academy at Glen View. This exciting new development has a fully equipped indoor studio/swing room, fitted out with the latest state of the art teaching technology. The golf shop at Burnley Golf Club has been extended and offers a fully stocked selection of golf equipment, clothing and footwear.

Our clubhouse has undergone several phases of refurbishment recently, and now offers a modern, welcoming and relaxing environment. We can accommodate upstairs dining for parties of up to 120, and also have a separate restaurant and bar on our ground floor. The panoramic views from our clubhouse are, we believe, second to none in the area. Just image enjoying a hearty 'Full English' or a bacon or sausage barm, served with freshly brewed tea or coffee, whilst watching your fellow competitors teeing off, and later relaxing after your round with a refreshing cool drink on the balcony overlooking the 18th green, awaiting your 'fine dining cuisine' prize giving repast.
