Amazing

I have and will continue to recommend providence projects to anybody that needs help! These people are truly amazing at what they do.
I for one can not thank them enough for helping my son beat his addiction of cocaine! He is now 4 months clean and healthy! It's lovely to have my son back to his old self!

I celebrate 3 years sobriety today October 16th. This is all thanks to the Providence Project, Bournemouth. They helped me to stop drinking but, more importantly, gave me the strength and tools with which to live a happy sober life. They gave me my life back and gave the old me back to my family. I can never thank them enough.

Professional and patient

I landed on the doorstep of the 'Provvy' in late May this year; emotionally drained, physically and mentally broken and devoid of anything resembling spiritual well-being. I was not in a comfortable place, not healthy, not happy and desperately seeking a means of escaping from the alcoholic hell that my life had become.
In a very short space of time I realised that I was in the right place. I cannot emphasise enough the warmth of the welcome, attentive and empathetic staff who guided me through the initial admission.
Although not new to the 12 step program, everything about my early recovery here inspired me. I only intended to stay for 28 days initially, but quickly realised that I needed to stay longer; more time to work my broken soul. I stayed for 12 weeks and graduated. A difficult emotional rollercoaster but I needed it. The whole journey was amazing. Cathartic. Fabulous professional and patient councillors, diligent and friendly support staff, and an introduction to a whole network of support in recovery.
I cannot thank the Providence Project enough. They have been instrumental in me being able to turn my life around and great things are starting to happen. I'm even relocating to Bournemouth and still go into affirmations to stay in contact.

They put the life back into me

3 years ago I had given up and was lost. I had turned to drink and drugs to help get me through life and self medicated. My mental health was gone and suicide I thought was my only option. Then I got thrown a life line from the providence projects and my ex wife. Broken and had given up this place and the people loved me, cared for me and built me up. They taught me life, coping skill, not be afraid and the future is what I make it. They put the life back into me and promised me if I work hard I won't ever have to go back to the way I was. 3 years today I went here and have never gone back. Brilliant place

Brilliant place so glad my son made the decision he did as I now have my son back!!
Can't thank the Provi enough for all the hard work with him especially Tara and co they never give up on anyone
He has made some really good friends and that showed when we came to his graduation and he is now doing after care it's been a long road but so worth it

The Providence Project was the best decision I’ve ever made. I was an acute Alcoholic and could barely walk through their doors. The understanding and care I received was beyond imagination. I never believed I could rid myself of this addiction but I have by following a programme that enabled me to get well. My life is so different now my family are amazed at the change in me. By following their programme I am free of addiction have motivation and am happier than my wildest dreams.

Amazing place

The Providence project was an amazing place and was a turning point in my life.
I was a client for six months in 2011, successfully completing the primary and secondary stage.
I had nearly no understanding of my illness or how to cope with life in life's terms until I went there and with the support of all the staff, began to manage my feelings and emotions and gain coping mechanisms to live life clean and sober.
Everything about the provy is designed to give you the best therapeutic care possible, and at the core of this is all the staff, some of the most amazing people I have ever know, some of them are still my friends and I know would they would be there for me if the need was to arise.
I can't really put into words my gratitude for everything that was done for me and the massive positive affect going there had on my life.

Wonderful staff

A very special place, with wonderful staff. 3 years on life is amazing. Thank you so much for everything you all did for me. Alcohol dependant and a chronic gambler the Provi gave me a platform to turn life around and that it has, meaningful relationships, wonderful friends and most importantly peace of mind. You told me good things would happen and they have - and continue to do so. Highly recommended...

They saved my life.

The team at the Providence projects literally have changed the path of my life and I would go as far as saying they saved my life.
It took two separate spells in rehab in Bournemouth because I wasn't ready the first time and didn't listen and wasn't honest enough with myself and wanted to manipulate my own recovery because I wasn't ready for total abstinence.
They gave me a second chance and I am so grateful for the life I am currently living, one day at a time
They are beautiful people and can help you if your ready to simply do what is instructed and help yourself.

I'm sure all of you at the Provi hear this all the time, but what you do is truly priceless and inspirational. With your help, we have gained a better understanding of our son who was addicted to drugs and feel a bond and closeness that we thought we had lost.
