read moreProtective Textiles started life on a farm in 1970, where it was involved in the manufacture and repair of lorry sheets, all-purpose tarpaulins and agricultural covers. We later moved to the River Thames near Hampton Court. Our knowledge and expertise grew to include manufacturing leg gaiters for hydraulic pit props for the coal mining industry to all types of boat covers and cushions. We work closely with our clients to create products appropriate to specific needs. We also offer a wide range of standard products including tarpaulins, plastic scaffold sheeting and debris netting, we are more than happy to undertake bespoke custom orders.

read moreAll work is carried out at our factory in Chessington and, where necessary, on site work is possible. We can replace straps, windows, zips, buckles, eyelets, fasteners and stitching. The photo shows a sports club curtain which was getting wet along the bottom edge where the cleaners had been a little too enthusiastic! We rectified the problem by adding a waterproof PVC polyester strip along the bottom edge which could then be wiped clean. This kept the curtains looking good and gave a longer life.
