The New Art Gallery Walsall gifts, collects and interprets historic, modern and contemporary art in innovative and challenging ways. The gallery is open 7 days a week and welcomes visitors from all over the globe. We strive to increase the understanding and enjoyment of arts and culture through our dynamic exhibition, education and event programme. The changing exhibition programme on Floors 3 and 4 focuses on the contemporary visual arts. Presenting both solo and group shows and through artists' projects, we strive to support and evolve the work of living artists and to build and evolve.

Artists are invited to submit proposals for existing paintings, drawings, photographs or prints to be acquired for the Gallery's Permanent Collection. The New Art Gallery Walsall is now offering digital STEAM worksheets for Primary School age children to work on at home. The downloadable worksheets are FREE and we would love you to have a go.

The Galleries were specifically designed to house The Garman Ryan Collection, gifted to the people of Walsall by Lady Kathleen Garman, widow of Sir Jacob Epstein, and her friend, Sally Ryan.
