The building is of great historic interest as it was once home to the Stirlings Library. It has now been sympathetically transformed into luxury apartments with high ceilings and many original features including the amazing Cupolas which flood the internal stairways and top of the building with magnificent light. The accommodation consists of a lounge with double sofa bed; fully fitted kitchen; dining space; double bedroom with plenty storage and a modern bathroom with shower over bathtub.

read moreThe Library is a one bedroom spacious apartment and can sleep 4 persons using the comfortable double sofa bed in the lounge. It is equipped as a home from home as we use it ourselves and like to feel comfortable away from our main home. We offer free wi fi internet as well as the use of a pay as you go mobile phone. This means if you have travelled from overseas you can make local calls at UK rate. We also provide a laptop so you dont need to bring your own if you wish to travel a little lighter.
