My motivation to acquire a practice came out of a desire to take more control over my working environment and my dentistry. Mr Belfit's retirement in 2006 gave me the opportunity to acquire a practice which was well established and had a patient centred ethos. I am keen that the practice continues to develop and provide staff with a supportive environment in which everyone is able to make a contribution to the practice.

Amalgam fillings have been largely replaced in recent years by so called 'white fillings' which can better match the natural colour of the lost tooth. Amalgam is still in use and can provide an effective solution in certain situations. Composite or 'white fillings' can be colour matched with the tooth next to the restoration, the reason being is to make it impossible to tell that a filling has been placed.
