Sheffield Pub Guide was established in 2002 in the effort to supply a comprehensive guide to pubs in Sheffield. We looked on the Internet and couldn't find a web page that offered details of all the city's pubs. There were some pub guides that listed pubs in the city centre and those that had a few pubs in certain areas. We wanted more, as I suspect you do, or you wouldn't be here! We set out to list all pubs and give at least their name, address, telephone and website/email details. That was a start, and it gave people a point of reference where they could go if they needed to find a pub in Sheffield.

This new venue is a proper beer pub featuring a 7-room hotel and is brought to you by the people behind The Rutland pub. We have added a basic listing for the Chantry Inn at 400 Handsworth Road, which used to be called the Cross Keys Hotel. This is the most recent opening by Chantry Brewery and serves a range of their real ales. Sport Shack, Hillsborough, are celebrating their first birthday. The site has gone from strength to strength and is now the flagship bar in the trio of Sport Shacks in Sheffield.
