Paint Pots Pre-School & Nursery
read moreVisitors are often surprised to explore this nursery and to discover the extent of the space both indoors and out. The nursery comprises 2 houses joined at the entrance, each with a front conservatory providing ample room in which our children can learn and grow together. Turn right at the door to access the preschool. The house to the left is dedicated space for our babies and toddlers. I enjoy working with Paint Pots because I believe in our ethos of 'love, laughter, learning', something I get to see every single day in our fun and spacious setting.

It is a separate expansive room with a large play-loft and areas for different group activities - a cosy book corner, craft area, sand and water play, physical activity and construction areas. There is easy direct access to the outside area enabling children to choose easily where they would like to play. I have worked at Paint Pots for 5 years and have a passion for providing high quality and stimulating childcare and always ensure that our ethos of 'love, laughter and learning' is at the heart of all we do.

Housed in the church hall in Freemantle, the spacious environment is well resourced, comfortable and inviting. There is much to spark children's enthusiasm, imagination and creativity both indoors and out, from the role play area, to the outdoors play house or sensory room. You will always find children engaged in happy, purposeful activities. Hello, my name is Sam - I am the manager of Paint Pots Testwood Road.

read moreLocated at the city end of busy Waterloo Road, our Freemantle site was the first of the Paint Pots nursery buildings, established in 2000, with a move of the preschool which had outgrown the owners' home. This Victorian guest house retains a homely feel in which children and staff feel comfortable, whilst providing practical space for activities. The nursery has a deceptively large and peaceful garden bounded by shady trees to create a haven in which play, learning, challenge, imagination, creativity and joy are very much in evidence every day!

A former guest house, which has been recently modernised and extended, it is always a hive of busy activity both upstairs (under 2s) and down. The garden has been developed to provide an extension of the indoors learning environment. The exciting raised playhouse, platforms and stage provide different levels and interest for young explorers who may be swinging on a tyre, singing with friends or enjoying a picnic.
