It became blindingly obvious to new management that there was a need for an instructor finding agency to take several of the guesswork out of choosing a driving school. This became apparent after several of the horror stories related to us by former pupils of a minority of instructors which indicated that there was a huge difference in the quality of instruction available. We're now an Agency and have put together a group of female and male instructors with the best level of instructional knowledge and with a nice track record.

read moreWe are a group of 14 fully qualified friendly and patient instructors, who between us have a whopping 151 years of teaching experience (so you could say that between us there's nothing we don't know about driving!). We have been a successful driving school since 1955, and we cover Salisbury and the surrounding villages. We offer manual and automatic tuition, for a variety of different customers. Whether you are a brand new learner, a full licence holder after a refresher or an employee who needs an assessment for work, we can help.

read moreWhether you passed 1 year ago, or 30 years ago, we would love you to put your skills to the test. And while we are at it, raise some vital funds for the Wiltshire air ambulance. In 2019 the Wiltshire air ambulance attended 239 Road traffic collisions in our county. Our ultimate aim is to make our roads safer. If you can pass your test, we will donate 100% of your fee. If you don't - we will offer any tips or advice to make your journeys that little bit safer. This year is a particularly special one for Wiltshire Air Ambulance as they celebrate 30 years of operation.
The Tests
read moreIt is up to you when you take your theory test. You can take it before you start driving or study alongside your lessons. If you choose the latter, your instructor will be more than happy to give you some help if you'd like it. We can also recommend some good books and online tools to help you. Many learner drivers book their practical test too soon and consequently the national pass rate is in the very low 40s. All our instructors are up to speed in the requirements of the practical test and will ba able to take you on some possible test routes.
