Back Pain & Sciatica Treatment
read moreWe recognise that low back pain is a widespread concern and may arise as either an acute episode or a long-standing issue. It can affect the lower limbs, creating discomfort, numbness or weakness. The lumbar spine, sacrum, coccyx and surrounding soft tissues all play a role in these symptoms. When these structures lose normal function, irritation and pain often follow. Our role is to assess the contributing factors and provide tailored support.Headache and Migraine Treatment
read moreWe regularly support individuals seeking relief from headaches and migraines, which remain among the most frequent concerns presented to chiropractors after back and neck pain. We recognise that headaches can be extremely limiting and may stem from various contributing factors, including tension in the upper neck joints and surrounding muscles. We also understand that primary headaches are far more common than secondary forms. Our approach focuses on addressing these influences with careful assessment and professional guidance.Neck Pain
read moreWe take a comprehensive approach to neck pain, acknowledging how the cervical spine carries significant load and protects key neural pathways. Many adults experience discomfort arising either suddenly or over time due to common influences like poor posture, demanding work patterns, or previous injuries. As this condition is widely reported, we focus on clear explanation and professional, individualised support to ease symptoms.Pregnancy Back and Pelvic Pain Treatment
read moreOur service supports those experiencing pregnancy-related back or pelvic discomfort through gentle chiropractic procedures delivered by practitioners with a special interest in this area. We apply techniques such as the Webster Technique and Myofascial Release to ease symptoms safely. Our aim is to promote comfort, assist daily movement and provide clear guidance on posture and pelvic alignment.Pregnancy Massage
read moreWe offer pregnancy massage treatments that focus on relieving discomfort and promoting relaxation as your body adapts to pregnancy. Our approach supports common concerns such as back pain, swelling, disrupted sleep, and rising stress levels. With specialist training, Rosie Evans provides adapted techniques for optimal comfort. Each session offers a peaceful space where you can unwind and feel fully cared for.Paediatric / Infant Chiropractic Care
read moreOur paediatric chiropractic care is led by Katie Champion, whose specialist training allows us to work confidently with babies and children. We carefully gather essential information, carry out gentle examinations and use techniques suited to each stage of development. Parents often seek our guidance when other options have been exhausted, and we strive to offer clarity and reassurance. Our priority is a calm, supportive experience for every child.Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI) Treatment
read moreThrough our Repetitive Strain Injuries service, we address a spectrum of issues linked to recurring motions and daily stresses placed on the body. We understand that tasks involving frequent typing, mouse use or repetitive sporting techniques may lead to conditions including rotator cuff irritation and plantar fasciitis. Our team evaluates posture, movement frequency and physical strain to determine the source of your symptoms. This enables us to deliver targeted, personalised chiropractic treatment to support effective recovery. Our Clinic
read moreAt Morningside Chiropractic Clinic, our extensively refurbished premises combine modern comfort with accessible facilities. Established in the same neighbourhood for nearly a decade before our 2011 move, we transformed a Victorian property to enhance the patient experience. We are mindful that many clients consult us while in acute pain, and we strive to offer professional, compassionate, and effective treatment in every visit.Your First Visit - What to Expect
read moreYour first consultation at the clinic is designed to be both informative and reassuring. The chiropractor or therapist will take time to examine your health background, understand your present concerns, and learn about your wellness goals. A detailed assessment identifies the root cause of any pain. We provide a clear explanation of results and outline treatment options. Where appropriate, treatment may commence during this initial visit to support a confident start to recovery.Reviews Write a Review

I cannot recommend Alan enough. He's a kind person and he's completely passionate about what he does. He helped me every time I needed him over the years and I always felt taken care of and seen. Not only he provides excellent treatment but he also explains what's happening and how you can get better. I've recommended him to many of my friends and everyone came back as relieved and satisfied as me. Also Dee and other reception staff are the kindes people you'll meet!

I just realised that my review I thought I posted 6 months ago was up but I dont see it so here is another one!
I cant stress enough how much my experience here changed the year I was having. After a year of chronic back pain which was ruining my life, within one session that was turned around. After four I was in a physical state that I didnt know I could feel after so long in pain.
Understanding, knowledge and caring I would highly recommend.

I am so grateful to have met Katie. Not only has she resolved much of my long-term pain, but she teaches me something new every time I see her. She has a gentle, kind, and thoughtful approach. I have years of experience receiving chiropractic care, but Katie's skill is unique, and my results last. I highly recommend her and the entire practice. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. My entire family are patients of Katie's, and I will continue to recommend her to anyone who wants to feel better!

I cannot thank Tony at Morningside Chiropractic enough. I have had 9 months of pain in my right leg and knee, weakness which has caused falls and had lost my confidence walking. Doctors have been unable to identify the cause. After the first appointment with Tony I felt much better and the leg pain began to go. He was very thorough and able to use his expertise to talk me through what could be causing the pain and work on parts of the body to help ease the pain. After the second appointment I gained confidence walking and actually ran a few steps. Tony is friendly and professional and I thoroughly recommend him as an excellent chiropractor.

My 20 yr old son hurt his back during MMA training. This chiropractor was recommended to him as he couldn't get an appointment with a doctor and wanted to continue training.
3 appointments later and the issue is resolved. Very reasonably priced for such a good service.

Vicky was recommended to me by a friend. I had never seen a chiropractor prior to going to Morningside Chiropractic. I was at the point of having reoccurring mild lower back pain and wanting to end this cycle. Vicky was great. She quickly helped to sort out the cause of my pain, prescribed some routine exercises, and helped the afflicted area through adjustment, massage, and dry needling. I will not hesitate to go back as issues arise.

I have been getting treated by Vicky for Arthritis (which Ive had since my 20s and now in my 50s) in my hips and lower spine for a few months now and the difference in my pain is excellent. I am mostly in no pain and definitely more agile than I was last year. I can walk for 3-4 miles again with no bother and havent had to take any painkillers since September! I can totally recommend Vikki for anyone with arthritic problems in their back or hips. I wish I had discovered this years ago!

Having slipped discs for the last 8 years and always been told to avoid a chiropractor the pain and impact on my mental health was becoming too much that I had to try something different. Honestly within weeks of starting with Vicky I feel like I am reborn. It has been the first time in a long time after a few weeks of treatment that I have been able to freely move around and control my pain. Being able to interact more with my young family also has been a massive change. Ever the professional and explains all in detail. Understanding more and more about the impact of the pain and how to get a life balance back. Honestly forever grateful. Andrew

I can't recommend Morningside Chiropractic enough, but especially Vicky! She has been an absolute savoir to my back pain. Working with me through the pandemic is has definitely been the best decision I made to help keep things aligned and greatly reducing my pain. Now working with her during pregnancy has been amazing, after only one adjustment, Vicky got everything back in line allowing baby to turn into position (after staying in breach for weeks!).
The clinic is welcoming and been so accommodating with my own work schedule. The caring and support team are amazing, and I always look forward to my appointments because of them.

Katie's help during the last few weeks of my pregnancy has been invaluable. Due to her, I'm able to sleep much better without pain which makes the world of difference. In addition to the professionalism and specialist help and advice, Katie is just a lovely, approachable person, making the visits pleasant and relaxed.

I have been a client at this practice for many years now and completely trust Alan and the team. Whilst i go for maintenance therapy mostly, i find it easy to get an appointment if i have an acute episode of pain.
The staff are welcoming and polite and you are never kept waiting beyond your appointment slot. Alan seems to get to the heart of the problem quickly and gives good advice and support on how to continue self care and therapy.
On occasion i have also been treated by Vicki and have had physiotherapy at the clinic too. Very satisfied with the whole set up, highly skilled practitioners in a good environment. I would recommend to others.
