The Club was established in 1989 in the domes at Bentham but moved to its current site in February 2000 where we currently have a purpose built bowls arena of 7 rinks plus Bar & Restaurant facilities. Funding came from a Lottery Grant from Sport England, loans from members and a loan from the bank. We're set in a picturesque location and provide ample free car parking spaces. The Club is run by a voluntary Board of Directors elected by the members together with a tiny staff of employees.

About Us
read moreMidGlos is a successful, forward looking and welcoming indoor bowling club. We have seven indoor rinks, a comfortable lounge / bar area and a versatile function room. In addition, we have the usual member facilities, the ability to cater for disabled and visually impaired members and ample free car parking next to the club house. Our membership spans a wide age range and we cater for all abilities from international bowlers to raw beginners. It doesn't matter where you are on that scale, you will receive a warm welcome at MidGlos.
