About Us
read moreWhilst similar to squash in some ways, a larger ball is used, along with a shorter racquet. Rallies last longer, because the ball moves more slowly, giving the opponent more time to react and get to the ball. Your squash membership of East Glos covers you for both squash and racketball. There are plenty of opportunities to play racketball at East Glos. You might like to join in at our regular social play sessions or enter the internal racketball league.
East Glos Club Tennis for all ages
read moreBeginners - A great place to start is our professional coaching sessions with our team of coaches. Why not try group or individual coaching? Rusty Returners - Why not try one of our six social tennis sessions every week. Or you could enter one of our many ladders - it's a good way to meet other members as you climb to the top. Experienced players - There are seven singles and doubles ladders, men, ladies and mixed. And of course there's league tennis and inter county matches. Team tennis is a well supported and important area of club life and we are active in the Summer and Winter Gloucestershire Leagues, Aegon Team Tennis (both the ladies and men compete at Regional level) and GB Seniors Inter Club.
