read moreIf it's not possible for you to attend the practice but you need some advice or your pet is unwell, we can offer you a video consultation. We would always prefer to see you face to face, but understand this is not always possible in the current circumstances. Step 1: Phone us and advise the receptionist that you'd like to arrange a video consultation. Step 2: The receptionist will take some information from you and explain how the consultation will work. They'll then arrange your video consultation over the phone (which includes taking payment).

read moreWe know how much your pet means to you, especially at times of ill-health or during an emergency. At Midforest Veterinary Practice we offer a 24/7 service. Outside normal opening hours you will be directed to either our Totton clinic or our OOH provider Vets Now. In cases of emergency, simply phone the normal number and listen carefully to the message. Both sites have well equipped operating facilities and manage their own routine surgical cases. The theatres are equipped with gaseous anaesthesia and Multi-parameter touch-screen anaesthetic monitors.

Don't worry if you can't remember exactly what you need - the team will check your records and be in touch soon to let you know when ready for collection or delivery. Note that medications (including flea and worm products) can only be dispensed when your pet is due to have them dispensed, there is no need to stockpile these vital medications at home. Please do not phone the clinic for medication queries unless urgent as we are prioritising phone traffic for urgent and emergency care whilst we operate on a skeleton on-site team.
