Library Theatre

For 56 years, the Library Theatre Company has made a major contribution to Manchester's cultural life. Established in 1952, and located in what was the lecture theatre of the city's Central Library, the firm has produced consistently best quality seasons of drama, musical theatre, plays for families, and comedies. It has both helped to evolve, and adapted to, Manchester's changing theatre landscape.
