Friendly staff, gave great advice and enjoyed a nice glass of red on the house while looking around.

We always get excellent wine from Latitude. The staff are very friendly and always willing to help with any query. The delivery service, which we used during Lockdown, was very efficient but it's great to be able to visit and browse round the wide range of wines and spirits.

Latitude is the best independent wine and spirit store in the world. Don’t take any notice of the troll reviews. Chris and his team know everything about what they sell and they offer the friendliest most knowledgeable service anywhere. I’ve been using them for over 15 years and can’t recommend them highly enough. Simply brilliant!

A nod to all of the fantastic front line workers, its colourful pallet matches the thank you poster that adorns the bottle.
About Us
read moreLatitude Wine and Liquor Merchant was founded in 2008 by Chris Hill after he realised Leeds was missing a high quality, independent wine and spirit specialist. Drawing on 12 years' experience managing bars and restaurants in the City, he took over the railway arch on Cherry Tree Walk from Hoults of Huddersfield. Starting with an overloaded Renault Scenic, a few hundred products and 1 member of staff (cheers Will!) the business grew rapidly, supplying both retail customers and a growing list of independent-minded hospitality venues in and around Leeds - despite the world tipping into recession shortly after getting the keys (cheers Bankers!).
