David Jordan qualified from Queen's University Belfast Dental School in 1978. He worked for a year as a community clinical dental officer for the SHSSB (Southern Health and Social Services board) in Banbridge, before leaving to take up a position in general dental practice in Southampton. After a period in a dental practice in Romsey, Hampshire, he returned home to Belfast to set up his own dental practice in September 1983.

Sometimes a natural colour ‘composite' material is used instead of porcelain. Veneers can improve the colour, shape and position of your teeth. The porcelain covers the whole of the front of the tooth with a thicker section replacing the broken part.
