JGS Autos will always check your brakes when we look at your car, however if you have not used our service before, call us and book a checkup.

If you experience any of the following symptoms during driving please get your brakes checked:

Increased pedal movement
A spongy feel to the pedal
Vibration through the pedal or steering wheel when braking
Scraping or grinding noise when braking
Wet patches inside the wheels or around the disks (wet to tough but not oily like water but smells oily) could indicate a brake fluid leak
Steering pulling left or right under braking
Handbrake travel excessive or not holding

You may also see an onboard indication light that warns of a problem with the braking system.
