J C Bird Opticians is situated in the heart of Sheffield, South Yorkshire. We think of ourselves as a friendly professional firm with a keen eye for all that is new in optical technology and style. We're a privately owned family firm and therefore have total liberty as to which frames and lenses we provide. Whilst we pride ourselves on our eye for style, we're equally concerned for your health. Our highly skilled team provide a comprehensive eye testing service, including diabetic and glaucoma screening. We accept work related plans such as Corporate Eyecare Plan and the Eyecare Vouchers. Clients of the Westfield scheme are welcome.

Suzanne Lynch FBDO - Joined the practice in 2001 as a trainee dispenser and qualified as a dispensing optician in 2003. Being one of the longest serving members, everyone thinks she IS John's daughter. Pretti Desai - Joined us in 2015 and hasn't been in a bad mood since with lots of giggles coming from the consulting room. Mel Taylor FBDO - has worked in optics since 1999 and qualified as a dispensing optician in 2011.
