Welcome to www.hoylakeschoolofdance.com! Our huge independent school specialises in all kinds of classical and modern theatre training. Whilst providing the traditional core theatre subjects we're 1st to introduce the more up to date non traditional styles as well. Our school currently offers classes in traditional forms of dance Classical Ballet (RAD) Modern, Tap. Modern styles such as Hip Hop, Street Dance & Commercial Irish Dance. We boast a thriving Drama (LAMDA) and Singing section.

Every child at this institution exudes happiness, enthusiasm, and a profound dedication to their craft. They are afforded incredible opportunities to partake in team competitions across a myriad of disciplines. Whether opting for examinations or not, students are nurtured with care, resulting in a cadre of remarkably talented dancers—both current and alumni—pursuing successful careers in the entertainment industry. My daughter Indie is absolutely enamored with this place!

read moreThe school opened on 18th March 1996. The syllabi used for dance are by the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), & International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA). For Drama we use the LAMDA syllabus (London Academy of Music & Dramatic Arts) for poetry and acting examinations. We also offer LAMDA Musical Theatre Exams for senior pupils. We are proud to offer a high standard of tuition at a reasonable cost. All our classes are held at our new state of the art studios, Studio 1 Hundred, 100 Market Street, Hoylake CH47 3BD.
